Very truly yours, The entire staff at Avalon Management ![]() The Avalon Management Group, AAMC®, a regional leader in Homeowner Association management, today announced that they worked with the Sun City Civic Association, Supervisor Jeff Hewitt, and the Riverside University Health System as well as Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman and Councilman Bob Karwin to successfully set up a COVID-19 vaccination center that administered vaccines to over 1,000 Menifee residents. These residents were seniors, many with limited mobility. Although setting up the vaccination center was a logistical challenge because it included registration for the vaccine, facilities set-up, and the need for additional wheelchairs and PPE supplies. However, the team, which included both health department staff and volunteers from the Sun City Civic Association and Avalon Management, were able to get it done. Norma Zermeno of Avalon Management was in charge of the setup and coordination of the event, which went off flawlessly. Jason Marsh, Fire Captain with Cal/Fire Riverside County, assisted with vaccination station set-up and staff coordination. Information about the COVID-19 vaccination center involved volunteers who went door-to-door to hand out flyers and answer questions so all seniors could register and obtain their vaccinations. “Many of these seniors would not have been able to access the vaccine due to their limited mobility. We definitely saved lives today, and we cannot thank our city, county, and health workers enough,” according to Mark Jones, President of Avalon Management. Hundreds of Menifee residents thanked the staff and volunteers, as many had sheltered in place since the beginning of the pandemic. “I didn’t know how I would get my shot until I got the flyer delivered to my door,” remarked one resident. “This is so wonderful. I thought I would have to arrange travel and wait for hours for my vaccination. This was truly a godsend even for me,” added Mary K., another Menifee resident. The event went so well that health officials are considering using the facilities again for future vaccinations. Avalon’s highest priority is and has always been the health and safety of our clients and employees. With the emergence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the increasing health concerns, we want you to be assured that Avalon Management is taking this situation very seriously.

Very truly yours, Mark Jones, President The Avalon Management Group The Avalon Management Group, AAMC®, a national leader in Homeowner Association management, today announced that it has launched an industry-first process, using live stream technology, to encourage greater community participation.
Recently, Avalon Management live streamed a candidate’s forum for a 2,600 home community. Hundreds of residents watched the forum on their smartphones, tablets, and computers. With a room capacity of less than 150, this technology gave every resident in the community the opportunity to ask questions and watch the forum. In commenting on this revolutionary process for HOA meetings, Avalon CEO Mark Jones explained, “Our ongoing objective has been to improve the property management/association/community member relationship, increasing collaboration and communication. Technology has been an ideal way to achieve that objective, starting with individual community apps and iPads for our Board members and continuing on with live stream meetings and events.” Residents were notified through Avalon’s community mobile app and email. They could also learn more about the event through links posted on the Association’s website. Questions for the candidates were submitted in advance through the Avalon mobile app and website. Multiple cameras and microphones ensured that the audience could clearly see, talk, and listen to each candidate. Jones added, “We recognize that online platforms have now become a preferred method of interaction among most generations. From those commuting and handling busy lives to older generations that may not be as mobile, our live stream capability offers them a way to feel included and have a voice in what happens in their community.” After receiving positive feedback, Avalon Management plans on using live stream technology for annual and monthly Board Meetings for larger communities in the near future.
